Carpet question
I want to put down carpet in our spare bedroom and make it a playroom for DS. When he have #2 this will become his room. But, I have wool area rug in my my living room and no matter how much I vacuum the dog hair doesn't come up completely.
Does anyone know if there is a type of carpet that is better if you have animals? Especially since this is a play room and DS will be on the floor a lot. Thanks!

For a playroom, have you looked at carpet tiles? There are several brands. http://www.flor.com/ is a big brand.
With carpet tiles, you can have interesting patterns, and if DC spill something, or somehow destroy one tile, you just pull it up, and either swap it with a tile that is under some furniture, or just buy a new piece. No need to replace the entire carpet.
I'm thinking of doing this in our playroom.

NOT BERBER! dog hair, dog hair, dog hair. not even a dyson can suck it up. it gets stuck in there somehow and don't come out.
i suggest an industrial carpet. they make them pretty now and much more selection, don't let the name "industrial" scare you.
