Carpet tiles from Home Depot
Has anyone used these? They seem cheaper than the others out there but want to make sure they are still worth putting down.
We had to rip up the rug in the basement when we had a problem with one of our A/C units. We decided carpet tiles is probably the best way to go. We dont want anything fancy or expensive b/c we use the basement for laundry and storage.

Did you check out FLOR (flor.com) carpet tiles to compare? I'm not sure of the price difference and quality difference b/w them and HD, but i'd check out their site too.
You can order samples for $5. We just got some samples in the mail and they're really nice. Since we're thinking of getting them as an area rug in our LR we're going with the softer cushier tiles (velvet twist). They have tons to choose from.

I was also going to suggest this. we may end up doing something like this for the foyer (hi traffic!)
