Re: If you have both hardwood floors and carpet in your home
The only rooms that are carpeted are:
DD's room Guest Room Basement
I wanted hardwood in DD's room & Guest room as well but a company came to do it and they said that they were badly stained and that they wouldn't turn out well so we carpeted instead.

Only the Den/Family room has carpet on the main level, everything else is hard wood. We do have an area rug in the living room though as well.

All the bedrooms are carpeted and the rest of the house is either hardwood or laminate (hallway, kitchen, living room, den).

Re: If you have both hardwood floors and carpet in your home
everything is hardwood, but we have a carpet runner on the stairs, and large area rugs that cover most of the family room and all but the perimeter of Ella's room.
