Carrying different ways and having the same sex?????
My SIL just found out what she's having and I'm all excited and antsy to find out what I'm having now! We are having very different pregnancies and I'm wondering if that means I'm more than likely carrying the opposite sex.
So, have you had more than 1 and carried totally different and had the opposite sex or the same? I guess my real question is is it possible to have the same sex baby she is having, although we have different pregnancies?

You're only 3 months right? You probably aren't really carrying a certain way yet... so i really don't think you can tell!
Everyone says I'm carrying the classic BOY way - even strangers on the street, cashiers, everyone and their mother says I'm definitely having a boy... and they're right! 
I don't think it's so obvious for everyone. I mean, I see people post belly pics all the time and it's not always easy to guess whether they're having a boy or girl... everyone is different!

I really don't think you can go by how someone is carrying. My best friend was carrying like it was a girl and it was def. a girl! But everyone and there mother said I was carrying like a girl and it was indeed a boy lol. I'm carrying differently this time around, so everyone keeps saying its a girl, but umm I'm 10 weeks, how am I "carrying" already lol.

Yeh, I'm only 14 weeks, but she is 20 and I have a more definitive, larger belly than she does. Maybe it's just due to our frames?

i read that the way u carry has nothing to do with the sex...
so i would say yes, its possible to have the same sex with a different pregnancy...each person is different!

A friend of mine carried 2 completely different ways and she had boys both times.
They were completely diff bellies!

True. My SIL carried WIDE and ALL over with her first. Classic girl (supposedly). She had a boy. With her second, she carried right in front and didn't gain anywhere else. She had another boy.
With both my girls I carried exactly the same- right out front. People always said, "You're having a boy".

We are team up until the last month or so every single person I saw told me I was carrying a boy. Now suddenly everyone thinks its a girl bc "my face changed" i think my face just got fatter in the final month well just 3 more weeks til i kno for sure

I don't think the way you carry has much bearing on the sex. My first boy I carried high and had a "watermelon" belly. My second boy I carried low and had more of a "basketball" belly. I didn't gain much in the hips or rear with either.

i dont think it is the way you are carrying as much as other changes that can occur... they say that if you have a girl it steals the mothers beauty... i can tell you that a fw of my friends that was definitely true as their skin had major breakouts and they had hair issues...
that being said, i can tell you my mother was convinced i was having a girl last time and i had a boy..... this time she thinks it is a girl again but we will see

I don't really believe the whole carrying a certain way theory, but I can tell you my friend carried completely different with her first 2 and they were both girls. I think its more about the shape of the belly and you can't tell that til later on. Very round bellies for girls and football shaped for boys, I haven't guessed wrong since I have been using this as my guide. For me the differences in my skin and cravings and things like that were a sign, but who knows that could have been the same if it was another boy.
