Re: Cars in the am
YES. I know you're not supposed to warm it up for longer than 3 minutes but I am not putting my 7 month old in a car that's 20 degrees.

Re: Cars in the am
Yes, because I don't want Christopher to get cold. If it was just me, I wouldn't bother, even though I'm sure it would be better for the car if I did regardless.

Cars made after 1980 or so do not need to be warmed up anyway.
I warm up my car for heat not for the car running

nope - I just get in and go!! The only time it gets warmed up is if I need to scrape ice/snow off the windows.

Yes. Only because I have an autostart & leave the heat & defrost on full blast.

Re: Cars in the am
My car won't really warm up until I drive it, so now I don't warm it up. I actually let it run for a 10 minutes one snowy winter morning and it didn't warm up until I drove it down the block.

Re: Cars in the am
Yup automatic start. I love it. One of the best things ever invented. Usually start it about 10 minutes before I go outside

Re: Cars in the am
For all those that like to warm up your car for 10 mins or longer.... just think of all that extra damage you are doing to the engine by letting it idle for no reason.
Any car built in the modern era only needs to be warmed up for a minute. Anything after that is a waste.
