Then again, there weren't any high notes for the defense. They did better during the State's portion of the case.

I think if the jury knows that Cindy was actually at work and lying on the stand Casey has absolutely no chance. So they don't want the jury to even see it because then they have lost completely. At least that is my understanding.

That's (hopefully) true. But the prosecution can't rely on the assumption that the jury doesn't believe her. If they have proof they should try to present it.

Yup..
she said that the dog had eaten bamboo and she was afraid the dog would get sick so she did a search for chlorophyll and ended up getting results for chloroform and then she clicked on that and also researched ingredients in hand sanitizer that she had read may be harmful, etc.

Some. She did say that she did not plug in the words in google: How to make cholorform. But she does say that she did search choloroform b/c her dogs ate bamboo in the backyard

I believe the prosecutions argument against the defense after they rest.
