Could you imagine?? But how could that spare her from the death penalty? If she did get sentenced to that it would be years and years and years from now, not within the next couple of months.

And wouldn't that have to be made known in court?

Did anyone happen to see 20/20 last night? It was a special on Diane Downs, the woman convicted of shooting her three children back in 1983. Somehow, I had never heard of her before but while watching this special it was giving me the chills how similar she is to Casey Anthony. The way she acted after she killed one daughter and almost killed her other daughter and son... made up a whole story about some man who shot them and almost jovially "reenacted" what happened... Smiling a lot and laughing during interviews, etc. Just scary! Only difference... Her surviving daughter, age 9, was the one who sealed her conviction by testifying against her.

I did not watch, but have seen the movie on TV, I agree she was just as nuts as Casey.

Anyone watching HLN now, Jane Velez Mitchell, had a aunt of Casey on the phone and said " Casey stole money from her grandfather's nursing home account" and the grandmother wanted to have her arrested. That was on June 15th, the conversation took place, Cimdy told her Mom she would not talk to her if she had her arrested, and paid back the money.

eta: I cannot take how Nancy Grace always calls her Tot Mom. I have never watched NG and I knew she referred to CA as Tot Mom but I didn't know that was all she called her...it's annoying lol

I highly doubt she is pregnant. She is supervised the ENTIRE time while in jail. Her cell door is clear. The guard is right there while she meets with her attorney. Aside from that...didn't her mom testify that she was very irregular and had gynelogical problems growing up? So sadly, this sounds like another one of Casey's attention getting lies.
