My gut feeling is that this has all been rehersed by the defense team with caseys family and their family attorney. They are trying to save their daughter/their sister from the death penalty. I'm just finding it real strange that Cindy strongly remembers leaving the ladder up now, telling others about it at work (?), making the internet searches...remember lee reached out to the defense as we learned today they want to help defend her from getting death.

Problem is, there is no way to prove that they're lying. About the pool ladder being up, Caylee being able to open the door by herself, who did the internet searches, etc. The only thing they could potentially prove is whether or not Cindy was at work on the days the internet searches were done... if she was, being a nurse manager, they should certainly be able to produce some paperwork that she filled out or worked on those days.

I do think the parents have MESSED Casey and Lee up bad. I think there's something really profoundly screwed up about this family and there most defintly are secrets, but She meaning Casey, Killed that baby and she should rot. I know its suppossed to be innocent till proven guilty, but I just cant stop myself from hating her and now hating her parents. HOW HOW HOW could they do this????
I always thought her relationship with Lee was weird, but I think its just a weird family dynamic in general that gives me that feeling.
She is mentally ill in some fashion, hands down.

i love yuri melich. his coversation with casey during their time at universal studios is the one piece of evidence that stands out strongest to me during this entire trial.

I havent been participating in this thread, but have started following the case the past week or so.
Who IS Caylee's father? Did they ever mention him?
And as for Lee.... something is weirdo with thier relationship. They both showed true emotion and I DID have a fleeting thought that he thought he might have been her father for some reason. Just a gut feeling....because in my head I couldnt understand why he would be THAT upset about not visiting them at the hospital. It seemed like he was SO bitter about not being allowed to be involved in the pregnancy, almost like he wanted to play the "father" role, ya know?
I dunno.... creepy.

Well there we go life repeating itself, everyone cover Caseys ***. I think this kid has not had to be responsible for any of her actions since like birth. I think her mother likes when she's drowning to leap n pull her out of every situation. This whole family is nuts.

ok so i'll start by saying that I definitely think Casey is guilty and that she should pay for eternity for what she did to that innocent little girl...
BUT I can't say that I blame her parents and brother for trying to save her from the death penalty... i don't have children yet, but i do know that the love of a parent towards a child is unconditional... that being the case, I think it's natural for a mother and father to try to save their child from being put to death, no matter what their child may have done
...too bad Casey didn't have the same unconditional love for her own child

I think they are all weirdos but I don't think he molested her. I think she has been coddled her entire life and when Caylee came she was no longer the center of attention and it ****** her off. Now she is back to being the center of attention. She is a sick b!tch and her family only reinforces it.

Yes!!
I think Casey was crying because afterall, he is her big brother...her big brother that she looked up to. Her big brother that she has dissapointed, who she hurt when Caylee was born. Aren't all big brother's the "protector" of their little sisters?

No, I get that, but the way they both reacted and their body language made me think Lee was being spiteful for other reasons...
it reminded me of how I would act/feel if I was in the room with my DH after he had left me, refused to talk to me, and had a child with another woman. He just seemed so hurt and betrayed by the pregnancy, and the fact that he wasnt allowed to be involved. Just very weird.
