Cash for Clunkers Program?
has anyone done this...you trade in a gas guzzler (gets less than 18mpg) and they give you $4500 for the car and soem dealers are doubling?!
It sounds too good to be true...we want to go look at soem dealers tonight, did anyone do this? Is it a scam?

keep in mind, it only benefits you if your trade-in is worth LESS than the $4500. You don't get a trade in value AND the clunker rebate.

The blue book value on my truck is just that...Im thinking it would be easier just to trade it in bc we prob wont get that much if we sell it plus we didnt even pay that much for it. It gets terrible gas mileage. thanks for the info!
