I need to get one, do they charge for this? how much? or is it a percent of the amount?

if i need a certified check i will go to my bank... they do not charge me since i have an account there.

My bank charges $10 regardless of the amount - although when DH complained that he didn't want to pay to get our own money, they waived it.
