Castor Oil to induce labor?
I was just wondering how many of you tried it and had it work.

My Dr does not recommend this method, as it can cause the baby to pass meconium (sp?) while still in utero.

Yes, and this can have deadly consequences, I would not do it

My Dr is not a fan of it... It could be dangerous...Check with your Dr before you do anything

DH works down south and the guys there swear by it...thus, DH made me take 2 tablespoons. I don't think it really did anything for me.

i did it with my first because i was desperate.
all it left me with was severe stomach pains and a night on the toliet.

I've heard that too. Most people I know who have taken it said it just gave them diarrhea
