catering hall question

Do you need an appointment to go look at catering halls and speak to someone about packages?
I don't remember from the wedding planning days 4 years ago.
TIA

I dont remember needing an appt. I just walked right in and someone was usually available to help me even if I had to wait awhile.

I would make an appointment - some places dont have a sales staff available all the time plus they are better able to give you the information you need if they know you are coming in advance.

Re: catering hall question

My wedding was a year ago so I still have a pretty good memory of the planning days and looking at halls Chat Icon

We made appointments at all the places we looked at, but at one place we just happened to pass by and took our chances. They told us to wait a few mins and then met with us.

Personally, I would make an appointment. That's what we did for most places, and the people were very prepared to meet with us, with a good amount of time available, prepared folders with information about the place, and sometimes even food (cookies, drinks) Chat Icon
