I shared a car ride with Jon Bon Jovi. It was my "I carried a watermelon" moment. I met the rest of the band as well - except for Tico.
The only celebrity that would truly impress me is none other than Paul McCartney. Im not easy to impress, but HE would be the one to do it.

I waited on Billy Joel when I worked at a restaurant. He came with Lea Tyrell from News 12. This was a while ago and before he stopped drinking. He likes French wine . He was very nice and soft spoken but he was constantly checking over his shoulder b/c we had an event going on in another room and he didn't want anyone bothering him.
I also met Johnny Rotten/Lydon when I 16. He was, well Johnny Rotten. He was nice to me, I was speechless and then he made fun of my friend's braces .
When I 16 I went to a NIN concert at Roseland. This was before they were so well known. Marilyn Manson often opened up for them. We got in to the afterparty and watch the members (when they were more of a group, not one man) of Marilyn Manson pick up groupies.

Wanted to add, my BIL took my nephew to a Knicks game a few months ago.
They were in the elevator with John Starks and my nephew (3) gave him a pound.
I think that is pretty cool.

Awesome! I met Mike Joyce from the Smiths once, he was nice, but I think he got annoyed because I kept asking him to tell me what Morrissey was like.
I have also met Eugenius (if anyone knows them!), Eugene was really sweet. I was on a plane with Forrest Whitaker. My brother is friends with Graham Coxon from Blur and said he's awesome. Oh, I met and hung out a bar with Mike McGlone, he played Ed Burns' brother in Brothers McMullen and is on the Gieco commercial now. He bought us a pitcher of beer, but he was kind of a douche.
Oh, wanted to add, I met the singer of the Catherine Wheel (again, if anyone knows them) - he was such a jerk.
I know Eugenius, I am a big fan of Scottish Indie bands, Teenage Fanclub are one of my favorites, and they are super nice guys. I now will have to pull out my Captain America CD and have a listen. Apparently the Vaselines are doing the rounds again...Scottish Indie bands are my specialist subject! I am friendly with a few of them.
Do you mean Rob Dickinson? My friend is going out with one of Catherine Wheel who apparently lives in Ohio now. I'm not a huge CW fan, but I have seen them a few times.

I just met Ted Koppel last Tuesday at a work event for my DH. He was gracious and kind. He also spoke and was an amazing speaker.
Last year they had the boxer, Sugar Ray and he was great too.
The worst year was when they had Bill O'Reilly from the O'Reilly Factor. They arrange for us to meet them and take pictures after they speak and I was pregnant at the time. I went up to meet him and he said, WOW, are you HUGE! I wanted to slug him. 
I also met Rob Lowe years ago when my SIL worked in the movies. He was adorable! This was when he was on West Wing. We also got to meet the whole case of ER and see the final eposide of season 6 being taped! It was so exciting. Sadly, she retired from the "business" and is a lifeguard now

Matt Lauer was sitting next to us at The Palm in the city when DH and I went to dinner their b4 a show and met my parent's.
My mom's first thought was... he's drinking white wine with a steak
He was pretty thin.
Rudy from the The Cosby Show. She was at a friend's party years ago.

De La Soul, they were very polite.
I also met Joey Fatone at The China Club he was actually pretty nice.
I used to intern for comedy central and got to go to the "Crank Yankers" premiere, I met Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel, and Adam Coralla. I also got to hang out with Tracy Morgan after who was pretty cool!
Also I met Judge Judy my first day as an intern on the "B Smith with Style" show. I was so nervous she was going to be mean but she was quite nice.

I used to LOVE her show when I was in college. I swear up and down that watching her show made me make better choices in life when it came to sticky situations: to have roommates or not? To loan money to a friend or not? etc etc etc.

I've met Gavin Rossdale 3 times.
Florida, NYC and AC NJ all while on tour with Bush.
Meeting him made me like him even more. He was very nice and took time to talk to me not just take a photo or sign an autograph and move on tho the next person. He smelt really good too.
I've also met NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler who I didn't like as much after I met him. I thhought he was an ahole.

He was a very nice guy but reserved. All I kept on saying to myself was "Im in a car with an 80s icon." His eyes are the bluest of blue and his teeth the whitest of white. He also made me feel incredibly fat and I may have been at my thinnest when I met him. Truth be told, I was more impressed with his celebrity than his looks. He is not my physical type at all and I do not find him sexy. I like meat on the bones.
