I met Derek Jeter at a restaurant in Tampa when I was on vacation. He was waiting for his table while I was leaving but I got to take a few pictures with him and got to talk to him a little, he was really very nice and very tall, also better looking in person.
I saw David Cassidy, Rick Springfield, Shena Eastern I think there are a few more people but I can not think of who right now.

I've met lots of bands over the years but my most recent (and funniest/most embarrassing ) was this summer when I yelled at Sonja Morgan from RHWONY to move her car when it was blocking us from getting out of a parking garage near Central Park! She was really nice too but I was too mortified to ask her for a picture after I really yelled at her!

oh..I waited on steve levy..it doesn't seem so cool now that a good friend of mine works for him and sees him everyday

LL Cool J, who was eating dinner with his wife at Benihana's in Manhasset. What a sweetheart!! So nice! I have also met Mandy Patinkin at a benefit dinner and Taylor Dayne!
SOOOOO Jealous! I love LL Cool J. DH has met him twice but I have yet to have the pleasure
I've met Mariska Hagirtay and Christopher Meloni from Law & Order SVU - they were really nice
Martin Sheen also very nice - he invited DH to hang a dog tag on the tree during the tree lighting in rockefeller centre one year

Oh I forgot..when I was very little my brother, cousin and I met Ice T (pre Coco  ) filming a video in a school yard in Brooklun. He put us in as extras, though when it aired we were not in the final cut

i totally forgot!!! i met Ben Stiller, Robert DeNiro and Blythe Danner when they were filming Meet the Parents. They set up their trailers at the school I was working at in Glen Cove. Very nice people and I even got take a pic with Ben Stiller!

Wow, you guys have met so many celebs! I have met a lot of poets...which are celebs to me but 90% of you probably haven't heard of these specific people.
As for other people...DH and I ate at Stefan's (from "Top Chef") restaurant in LA, and he came out and had a conversation with us! He was SO nice and so full of himself .
I also once waited on Steve Baldwin...he was a friendly guy!
I'm sure I've met some other people, but those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head. Not as exciting as all of you!

I was working as a cashier in a store and I rang up his order. It was delightful 
ETA: I almost forgot about this big one... I met Boy George in the airport. This was in the 80s so it was a big deal
