Centerpiece ideas for DS's hungry caterpillar themed 1st bday
I was going to use balloons but need ideas on what to anchor the balloons to.

What about a basket with the utensils in it:
Then you can put stickers or cut outs on the basket

I just did a google image search and found this...you can easy make these with Styrofoam balls, paint, googly eyes, sparkes?

Though this could get quite big, my first though was to use glue dots (the peel and stick kind) and glue balloons together to make caterpillar centerpieces...If regular balloons would be too big, water balloons would probably be the perfect size

I love this idea! I'd tie the balloons to clear fishing line then tie them to a balloon weight.
Love the bowls of fruit too! But I'd want to sit at Saturday's table!  
ETA: Better yet, scratch the centerpieces and do this...
Here's what I was thinking when PP mentioned using glue dots (and I saw 9"helium balloons at Party City yesterday so they'd be smaller)...
Use the glue dots to make a caterpillar then tie a string to one balloon in the center. That would look cool.

These are all such good ideas. Not sure on number of tables. We have lots of family in Hawaii/ Cali. and they haven't decided if they are coming or not. What do I do with Saturday's table. Can' really throe salami and ice cream in a bowl
