cereal in bottle
If you put cereal in your Child's bottle
1) how old were they when you first did it?
2) what kind of cereal did you use?
3) How much did you do?
TIA

Re: cereal in bottle
I started putting cereal in Katie's bottle when she was about 3 1/2 mos old. I did it to A) filll her up a little more and B) to get her digestive system used to the cereal. I switched to level 2 nipples too. I used rice cereal and put about 1 tbs in with 6 ox of formula.

Did you wait for the dr's approval or did you do it on your own?

Re: cereal in bottle
I didn't start giving Ali cereal until she was 2 months. I started on the spoon after about 2 weeks, we were having difficulties giving it to her on a spoon. We changed to the bottle. 1 Tablespoon of rice cereal to 4 1/2 - 5 tablespoons of formula. We used Dr Brown bottles and changed to the Y nipple I will tell you - it was VERY hard to go back to the spoon again after though.
