Changing diaper question

When everyone is out and about with their babies, where do you change them. In the bathroom on the changing station table??? Isnt that so unsanitary? I have all these dumb questions. LOL Sorry

Re: Changing diaper question

I have a vinyl pad that came w/my diaper bag that I put on the changing table. I hate changing her when we're out in public but if it must be done than you got to do it.

ETA: I always have a bottle of purell with me in her diaper bag.

It's not a dumb question!! If their is a chaning station in the bathroom then I change him their but I have a portable changing pad that I put down first before I DS on it. I have also changed him in car, trunk (we have a truck too) and stroller.

Re: Changing diaper question

I did not like the idea of the changing station when we were in Disney so I changed her right in her stroller with a pad down. When I am out at like the mall I really do not change her untill I get home.

Same here, you can't leave DC in a dirty diaper.

Re: Changing diaper question

I have a patemm pad (www.patemm.com) and they are the greatest things ever!
I put it on the changing station or right on the floor, it's nice and big.

Re: Changing diaper question

You can use the changing pad, but I also think they have disposable pads that you can put on the table under the changing pad so the changing pad doesnt get yucky either.

I put a Huggies disposable changing pad down first and then my changing pad. Then I toss the disposable. I've seen people changing their baby right on the table thing in the restroom at the mall which gives me the heebie jeebies.

Re: Changing diaper question

If I must use a changing table I put a disposable pad down then my changing pad. Usually I just change him in the stroller wherever I am!

I change him before we leave anywhere. And the only time I will change him when we are out is if it stinks or if we have been out for awhile.

In that case I change him either in the car or in the stroller.

The family room changing table...I use the pads that come in the diaper bags, and then a disposable one on top of that.
