I would tell him it's not a matter of "want" it's a matter of need, and he needs to change her diaper. I try to give DD a toy or something, and sometimes it turns into a wiggle match, but it ultimately gets done!

Tough tushy!!!!
I admit that the kids do go through a phase where diaper changes become more difficult but it is a chore that needs to be done...
Tell him to sing a song or give her a book when it's time to change her diaper...Im sure he'll come up with something. Just dont let him get away with not changing any diapers!

Re: Changing diapers (10-12 months)
We DREAD diaper changes these days - but like other posters said - it is a need that must get done. I literally chase her around the house naked trying to get a diaper on her.

From this stage on, the toddler years don't get easier. Diaper changing, meal times, getting dessed is a wriggly screaming mess. It needs to get done, and when DH is home, he does it. He actually is better than I am!!!!
