Changing eye color??

At what age did you baby's eyes change to their permanent color? Ava's eyes are starting to change...I think...

I'm interested to see the responses to this too. DH has blue eyes & I have brown. DS was obiously born with blue eyes & the seem to be getting lighter instead of darker & DH is really hoping that he gets his eyes. We have been trying to remember when DD's eyes changed. I know hers were pretty close to brown when she was born & I'm pretty sure that by 2 months they were completely brown, but we can't remember for sure.

They can change at any point, but generally change by age 1 if they are going to change. I have heard of a few kids whose eyes change by age 2 and some, though not many, older than 2.

Frankie was born with dark blue eyes that became lighter and lighter until the were very light! Now the centers are starting to turn yellowish/green...I have green eyes. DS is six months old

DD had blue eyes at birth and they stayed blue up until about 1 or so and then started to turn hazel and I'd say about 2 years old they are in the brown family but a light/hazel.

DS was born with dark blue eyes and they turned dark brown at about 3 months or so. Maybe even sooner.

I have dark brown eyes and DH has blue eyes.
