cheapest flights down to Florida?

Any suggestions of where to get the cheapest airfare? Kind of a last minute thing here....it would be for next Thursday, just for the day! I looked on priceline so far and I'm coming up with around $400 rt.

Did you check JetBlue...they have those crazy early & late flights that are a little less expensive but in general that is the fare for FL right now.

Southwest has some really good prices sometimes

Southwest is good. Tyr Expedia.com too, they always have the best prices, we have used them a few times.

i love them both

do not do not do not fly: Frontier airlines or USA3000.

they are the worst. my company wont even deal with them.

Frontier airlines, every single person i dealt with was beyond rude. I had a major issue while at the airport, contacted the airline via phone and the CS person on the phone yessed me to death and told me it's my own fault for not knowing the rules and regulations and i should know how to read an airline ticket he shouldnt have to tell me where to locate a confirmation number. he was a disgrace. if i ever met that person face to face i think i would just punch him for his rudeness, unprofessionalism and the way he acts as a human being.

then the supervisor did something majorly wonderful for me and overrided some rules. so the ticket person at the counter looked at me and said "i hope you are satisfied with yourself because just so you know you may have costed that person his job. what he did is grounds for termination"

every person i have met with that airline was beyond rude and unprofessional.

they are a true disgrace to the airline industry.

USA3000 the seats are like wood and they are constantly constantly delayed. their nickname in my office and in the airport is delay3K

We are going to Florida last week and found the cheapest flights on Song - $68 each way!

thanks for the suggestions! I'll be looking into them later but so far I'm still not coming up with anything under $300 + Just seems ridiculous when I know you can get around $70 or so each way....I guess because it's for next week and just for 1 day that the prices are up there?

check the flight prices on Monday. Prices seem to be higher over the weekends and it's less then 7 days advance purchase which is often higher
