Chemical PG
sorry I haven't been on the TTC boards that much lately. I actually just lost a chemical PG at 6 weeks. We knew right from the start that things did not look good and with being unsure, I decided not to post until I knew what was actually going on.
The fertility doctor, Dr. Rosenfeld from NSUH was the one to break it to me on our first visit. I can tell you I did not feel comfortable with his bedside manner towards us. I like a doctor who shows a little compassion, looks a patient in the eye and talks to you like a person, not like he's a machine rattling off information. Now that it seems the PG has completely expelled, I am going to try and see Dr. Chu who I know many women just LOVE to find out if I truly have a blocked left tube or if it was in spasm.
So now we have to wait a full AF cycle before TTC again.
Wishing you all lots of and I hope we'll all be seeing each other on another board very, very soon.

Oh my Gosh Donna - I am so sorry
I definitely think it is better that you go to a different doctor. You want someone that is compassionate.

Re: Chemical PG
So sorry Donna.
It's bad enough when you are going through it, but to have the doctor not be supportive is just awful.

Re: Chemical PG
Ahhhh Donna that is a shame! So sorry.....
I had Dr. Rosenfeld for my HSG -- which he was great for, in and out so fast and no pain...maybe he should stick to the radiology stuff?
You will love Dr. Chu, she is very honest. Good luck!

Re: Chemical PG
Sorry you had to go through this. Hopefully you'll get the green light soon to TTC.
You know, a gazillion degrees on the wall & they really mean nothing when you don't have an ounce of compassion...I guess some things cannot be taught in a university.

Very well said! Dr. Rosenfeld was recommended by a friend who had years of infertility problems and he got her PG on the first shot. I really need a doctor who talks to me like a person, not a patient. If I'm not comfortable with a doctor, I really don't want to continue with them. I did see him more than once to be monitored with the hopes of him redeeming himself in our eyes (DH didn't like him much either). I figured on the first shot maybe he was having a bad day. But he was very cold even on the second visit.
Kara, Donna (dm24angel) also saw Dr. Rosenfeld for her HSG and had a quick visit. Has anyone else here seen him and liked him?
