chewing on crib rail
Does anyone know where I can find some sort of rubber strip to protect the top rail of my crib from DD's little teeth?
She's standing now and treats her crib rail like it's a corn on the cob

Re: chewing on crib rail
At BRU you can buy a hard plastic cover for the rail.

I bought the hard plastic for the rails at BRU. They didn't work though. He would just throw them off.

Re: chewing on crib rail
My DD did the same thing. I bought plastic ones for the front at Buy Buy Baby and they also had gummie ones there too. I used those for the sides. The plastic ones only fit the front of my crib so I used both.

Re: chewing on crib rail
The hard plastic ones didn't fit on the rails of my crib so I bought the adhesive gummy one. It doesn't stick that well in some places though because my DD licks it!

Re: chewing on crib rail
The hard ones were like a joke. I would leave the room, DD would take them off and bang them together like drum sticks.

Marron would do this too, or she would get her fingers stuck between the 2 pieces (1 didn't cover the crib rail so we had to put 2 on there).
I ended up getting the gummy ones from BRU and they were terrific. It fit perfectly, and has been stuck on there ever since. There are instructions included for how to remove it without ruining the wood.

Same here, every morning I knew DS1 was awake when I heard thump...thump...thump as all eight of them hit the floor.
We ended up needing a new crib with DS2 anyway so I opted for one that has a teething guard built in. Little stinker still got his teeth right below the guard, but at least you can't see it!
