Chloe's 1st Birthday review- finally
I know it is a month late but here it is..
Chloe's 1st Birthday
We had it at the Marriot Residence Inn in Plainview. It was wonderful, Joanne, the catering Directer was fantastic and they did whatever we wanted. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a venue for more than 50 people. We had the upstairs- Solarium which was perfect.. the food was perfect- we wanted it more casual-- we did wraps, salads, a pasta and a chicken dish that was hot. The kids had there own food in a different location- french fries, pizza bagels and chicken fingers.
entertainment- Little People. They did a great job. kids had fun. We did face painting, puppet show and circle time with parachute. They were there for an hour and a half.
Balloons- I have a balloon lady that works out of her home. It was perfect. and they were quick in blowing up the balloons.
Favors-- We did for everyone and for just kids.. Everyone received a cookie at their seats. We used my-cookiejar.com for the cookies. I highly recommend them. They were big and yummy and stayed for weeks...
For the children I did different favors-- under 1 received personalized lawn chairs, 2 -5 received sand toys. 5 and above boys got boomerangs and 5 and older girls got peace bracelets..
Invitations- polka dot design- they were cupcake themed.
Big poster of Chloe-- My husband did it and got it printed out.. so cute..
Cake- From the infamous cake lady. It was beautiful and it was so good. I recommend her anytime but you have to call way in advance..
placecards-- I had 100 people so we went placecard route-- from Michaels cupcake stickers and place cards..
This party was much needed for my family so we went a little overboard but very much worth every penny..
