christening dilemma
I am christening my daughter in 2 weeks, after the church the family will be going to dinner. We don't plan to invite anyone but family and the godparents to dinner. how do we tell people who want to see my lil girl christen that they are only invited to the church.

Re: christening dilemma
Did you invite them to the christening in the church?

Re: christening dilemma
not as of yet, cause i know the next question will be what are you doing afterwards. i don't want to lie about when the christening is going to be held

Re: christening dilemma
I think if I were in your shoes - I would only invite the people you plan on going with you after. Anyone else that asks about the christening I would just give the church information. If they ask what is going on after, I would just say we are only having family for dinner or whatever you are having. You can say we are keeping dinner small only family is invited. I am sure people will understand.
Hope I helped
