We had my DDs at Paddy's Loft in Massapequa.
I can't remember exact price it was in the $23-$25 range. Salad, Choice of 4 entrees and unlimited beer, wine and soda. They also have other packages for less I think.
We also did a fruit platter and crudite platter which were under a $100 each for when people walked in...that was a hit.
We had the whole restaurant plus the room in the back. You can also have the room in the back for under 40 people. We had my baby shower there.
I cannot say enough about the staff at Paddy's Loft they are fantastic! The food is also excellent!!

Lori what does it mean when you say "Bump" for more locations?
when you "bump" a thread it means that you are bumping the thread to the first page so that more people will see it and hopefully respond. Otherwise, it will just keep falling back and nobody will read it (unless you actually go back to older posts).

We had DD's Christening at Per Un Angelo in Wantagh and we were very pleased with everything.
I want to say it was $35 a person and that included wine at every table. And they gave us a break on tax when we paid in cash.

DD's Christening Party was at our local Firehouse...they have a "Great Room" they rent for functions....for us it was free because my parents are members...but the cost normally is pretty minimal.

Im in the process of looking for a location for Nov. but our guest list is 145 people. We are trying to spend the least as possible but being we have big families its very hard.

Jackson's in Commack starts at $23pp. our pkg is $30 Food is fantastic.
Pomodrino in Hauppauge starts at $25.95pp Huntington starts at $22.95pp

Resturant Joanina in Huntington starts at $28.95
Mangiamos in huntington village will do the package with 1 app for $30 if you book before labor day

Island Hills Golf & Country Club in Sayville !!
Food and service was incredible...beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the golf course, large dance floor 
I can't recall what the price was per head but I'm thinking $34.95 
We ran a tab for beer/wine..

We had DS's at Sergio's in Massapequa.
I don't remember the exact prices but I want to say it was around $25-30 pp... ours was relatively small...we had about 40 people... they are perfect for 50 and under parties... although I think they say you can fit 65ish, it would be tight though.
Service and food is always great there, they had several menus/pricing options for us to choose from... If I remember correctly we had one that was a little more expensive (we served beer and wine...they do not have a full bar) and it was still extremely reasonable.

I had DS's Christening at the K of C in New Hyde Park. It was $44 per person (including tax) and that included a full open bar with a decent liquor selection. They do all of the setting up, serving and cleaning up. They also use an excellent caterer.

We had DS Baptism in the backyard, but I did rent a hall for his 1st birthday which was in April.
St. Patrick's Episocal Church in Deer Park, off of Carl's path.
It's in the basement of a church and was very clean and roomy....held over 100 people.
They charged $5.00 per adult and $3.00 per child. If there are more than 75 guests, it's an additional $75 for another "server" to come and help.
I did my research and this seemed to be the best price. It cost me $250 for the hall and then we brought our own food, beer, wine, cake, and decorations. I probably spent close to $1000.00 on this party.....

DS's Christening is at Hemingway's on Sunday, so I can't tell you how it is yet 
Price is for sit down is $30 and includes bread, salad, choice of 3 entrees & cake (I'm bringing my own cake so they're giving us apps of fried calamari and tomato & mozz at every table). Running tab for drinks. We're having almost 60 people

We had DS' at Tesoro's in Westbury.....it was about $29pp I think. Food was amazing and we had the whole main part of the restaurant.

DS#1 we had the Blessing in the Historic Chapel in Woodbury (would NOT recommend) and the reception at Palmer's in Farmingdale. Palmer's was great and was $29 per person. (we ran a tab for the bar) We had 75 people.
DS#2 we had the Blessing and the reception at The Carlyle at Bethpage State Park. HIGHLY recommend them - they were very accomodating & gave us 2 rooms and the extra half hour at no additional charge. It was $45 per person, and the food & presentation were phenominal. (we again ran a tab for the open bar). We had 50 people.
We have also had their First Birthday Parties at Coral House (it was a good party with great service), and the Westbury Manor (fantastic food & service) Both parties were $55 per, plus bar tab. We had 85 ppl at DS1, and 50 at DS2.

Yes, I was actually suprised bc I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was. When we went in for a tasting I was sold...they use all top cut meats and their service is really great. I would have another party there in a heartbeat

We had it at the De Seversky Center in Woodbury...it was amazing...anyone looking for a big space/catering hall, this is the place...all my guests raved abou the place how unique it was and how beatiful!
