Christening related
Did your church make you go to a group meeting with other parents christening their child. Kind of like a group discussion? DH and I had to do with before DS' christening and we are both very shy and felt very uncomfortable. DH says he is not doing it again we will find a church that doesn't make you do this. Just curious if that is standard procedure?

we had to go to a class, but it wasn't a discussion or anything. They just talked about what baptism was and whats going to happen at the actual christening.
