Christening Venue Spinoff...
So we are pregnant. And I am thinking of the Christening. Where we would look. I know a lot of people have them at catering halls. To those that did, is it super expensive? Like a wedding? Or is the cost per head so much cheaper because it's not a wedding? I hate asking people how much they paid but can someone give me a broad range? I always wondered this. Thanks!

I wish I could give you an answer but every place I call is booked so they dont even talk to me about price! I dont want to spend more than $75 pp but I would love to spend less but I doubt it if I book a RH over a restaurant.

That's what we are looking to spend PP. I am thinking of going the restaurant route. I was curious though if I catering hall was actually around that price, NOT bad! I mean, I have heard of people spending 65 PP in some wedding halls for a wedding so you would think maybe for a Christening it would be cheaper? But then if you have it in a wedding hall, that means DJ which could cost a lot too! So restaurant it is!

We had my stepdaughters sweet 16 at the knights of Columbus in Oceanside which has an actual catering hall. They were really easy to work with and it was 30 ish pp with no alcohol. Places like that are an alternative to a wedding type of place

I had my baby shower at a catering hall and I believe it was around 50pp including open bar. Catering halls charge much less for events that are not weddings.
