This is still late compared to upstate, where I am from. But I found down here that people do it a lot later.

My first was 4 months only bc the holidays were right around the corner when he was born. With my other 2 I did it at 2 months old.

DD will be 5 months. I wanted to do it sooner, but due to Lent, the church has a 7 week period that they do not do baptisms.
