Penne with bolognese
Scalloped potatoes
Smashed Brussels sprouts
Spinach walnut pear cranberry goat cheese salad
Corn casserole
Garlic bread
Dessert asking guests to bring

I never know with recipes how much to make. For example the scalloped potatoes says serves 6 so do i double?

Yes and I also find that what they "say" it serves is usually a very small portion if you go by it.
So I might even triple just to be safe.
I always would rather have leftovers than not enough.
