Chronic Styes

Hi everyone!

I have never gotten a stye in my eye before in my life until about 4 weeks ago when all of a sudden I've been getting back to back styes in both eyes. I have since changed all of my makeup, changed contact lenses, changed pillow cases and sheets regularly. Wondering if anyone has had experience with this? I don't know if this is something to talk to an opthamolgist, optometrist or regular MD about.

I have already been to urgent care once to get antibiotic ointment but that is only minimally helping.

I never had a stye ever and also got them back to back. But after the 2nd time, it never came back. The dr told me if it did, I may have to get some surgery for it (I forgot what it was called ) but it never came back. Hopefully this second round of treatment gets rid of them for you

I also only used paper towel to dry my hands and face with during the time I had the stye. I think that helped
