Citi Mini or Maclaren for lightweight stroller? Also..what model do you have (MAclaren)
I'm leaning towards citi mini (originally got this one at my baby shower) but now I'm having second thoughts. I went to BBB and looked at both today and still think I like the city mini but It is def bigger and bulkier then the Maclaren. Any feedback would be appreciated...likes/dislikes ect...TIA!
Also, if you do love yoru maclaren..which model?

i love my maclaren quest sport. very lightweight, easy fold, and has just enough recline for DS to take a nap.

I didn't think the citi mini was considered a lightweight/umbrella stroller?

I hated my Maclaren. If I could do it over I would get a CitiMini.

Re: Citi Mini or Maclaren for lightweight stroller?
love my citi mini ( double) but it is not what i would call a light weight stroller. maybe b.c i have twins and have the double but it is heavy and folds up bulky.

I guess what I meant is something easy to handle (I have the bug and it is a nightmare to unfold!), not necessarily "light weight"

How big of a difference is there between the Quest and the Triumph other than the price? TIA

Same here. I love the Quest.
Same here. The only con that I can think of is that they don't sell a snack tray to attach.

Re: Citi Mini or Maclaren for lightweight stroller?
I have both the city mini and a maclaren volo. For me, I love my city mini for walks around the neighborhood, handles great! I don't love that the seat doesn't go fully upright, my son was always pulling himself forward to see. That said, I still like it and use it for walks, but use the Maclaren for errands, etc. I don't think the maclaren would cut it on our crazy bumpy sidewalks, hence why I have both.

I received the Maclaren at my shower but then returned it because of the recal, have they fixed the problem and do the new ones still have it?
I have a Graco travel system but want to get something light weight for the summer and not sure if I should get another Maclaren or citi mini either.

Same here. Also the City mini is almost 17lbs...the Quest is 12lbs. If you want lightweight I would go with the Quest. The City Mini is more full size. It has a bigger sunshade and deeper recline.
