Citi Mini Stroller UGH!
OK, so my stroller broke the other day(it is from my 8 year old) so I went yesterday to BBB to check out the Citi Mini that I hear such great things about. It looked nice, it was super light and smooth riding. So I put Peyton in to see how she fits and...... She is too big. She is only 17 months. Granted she is huge for her age. Her feet were on the foot rest and her knees were being pushed up. Her feet were about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from touching the front tire( when not on the footrest, which was clearly uncomfy for her). I would have been pi$$ed if I would have gotten this stroller before she was born and she already outgrew it. So long story short, it is a great stroller if you have a little child. Its gonna be another Metrolite for us, I loved my old one.

Huh, this is odd. My son is 21 months and 35 inches, so I wouldn't say he is small at all. He still fits in his just fine. Did you try different settings? I would ask at the store about this--unless your child is taller than this, she should fit.

That stinks! I have the older model and LOVE it. My DD is 2 1/2, 35 inches tall and 32 pds and still fits fine in it. (not that she ever rides in it anymore )

Re: Citi Mini Stroller UGH!
So funny you posted this because I was going to ORDER this stroller b/c DS is just about to outgrow his Chicco Cortina! I love the Cortina, but it has these flaps on the sides that make the upper portion of the stroller very narrow! When DS is wearing a jacket in the stroller he leans forward because he is too broad for it!
Hmmmm - now I don't know what I am going to get!

Try a Maclaren. They work great for "bigger" kids.
Also you may be surprised but the City Mini will last you longer than you think. DD still fits in her Bugaboo and I thought she was going to outgrow it a few months ago...her growth has slowed down in the past few months though so she still has room.

I had the guy in the store(who seemed to be very knowledgable) adjust the stroller and we put DD in it and he said NO WAY, she is too big, I would get something else. He recommended the Metrolite or the Maclaren(aria, I think) I have not had her height done recently. She was about 32 inches and 30 lbs at her one year check up and she is now 17 months. We are going in 2 weeks.
