OMG! Thank you so much! DH and I have been checking for an hour and heard nothing. He even was getting dressed. If I hadn't checked here, he would have gone in!
I can't believe they waited this long to announce. That is so irresponsible. How many teachers aleady left??

I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but he could have made the decision a little sooner. I called in and felt badly, but I'd be really mad if I'd decided to go- I am always on the road at 5:45.

I know! I was thinking of all the teachers who were on their way already, only to have to turn around! I was just about the walk out the door toward the bus stop, when my friend called to tell me to go back to bed!

I AGREE! DH and I were up at 5 checking the TV. By 5:45 he said oh well, I guess it's open and started getting dressed. I checked here and this was the ONLY place that talked about it. We had turned on Fox5 because they seemed to be focusing on NY rather than NJ. They didn't announce it until after 6, DH would have been gone. I really think that was poor judgement.
