Leo brought his rollerblades and went to 23rd, now he is heading to 8th. He works there, but gets off at 2:30 tonight, so then rollerblading back down to the ferry.

OMG, Janice, that stinks. Chat Icon Chat Icon Maybe he will have better luck getting a cab at that hour, since eveyone will be home?

Thanks. He did find a car last night, 15.00, but they picked up 2 more on the way, and dropped off the 2 people in seperate spots before dropping him off. So he paid 15, but missed his boat. Then it is an hour wait. He is cheap, so tonight he is going to book it and try and make the boat.

If I had walked it would would have been long. I think Map Quest said 5 1/2 miles, from Grand Central to Morris street ( near Bowling Green)

Instead I walked about a half hour from 42 & park to 33rd & 6th & then took the path (for another 45 minutes) & then walked from the World Trade center site to Broadway & Moris --about 10 minutes.

I saw some people on the news yesterday waking some crazy distances.

I've been lucky - classes have been canceled!! Of course I am writing a ton of papers now instead of taking finals, but at least I'm home!

I'm home too! That line around Penn station sux and climbing under a police barricade was not my best idea... but I got on an earlier train and got home.
