Class trips and bringing a camera
I'm going on a class trip with my DS in a few days. I would like to bring my camera with me.
do you think its ok?

I would think absolutely yes - I have taken my camera on school trips.

My kids went on a school trip today. DH and I worked and grandparents chaperoned.
I'm sure some parents brought cameras.
DD told me someone took a "family pic".
Sure you can bring one. I just would never post a class shot on FB or any other site.
Most daycares/schools give out a form granting them permission to use your child's image on their web page and other advertising media... I never sign that waiver.

Just don't post the pictures of anyone elses kid on Facebook or anywhere else on the internet and you should be fine.

YES!!! Especially if your school does a 5th grade yearbook. Let me tell you, as the lady who RAN the 5th grade yearbook at my elementary school last year, those pictures are worth their weight in gold!

The class Moms in a couple of my kids' classes were great. They always took pics and then send a shutterfly link of the pics to all the parents in the class. It was really fun to get to see the pics of how it went especially when you weren't there.
