Daycare & Class Trips

I’m asking for my sister. My niece just got paperwork yesterday that they will be a class trip to the local farm, to do Easter eggs hunts, a hay ride, and lunch with the Easter bunny. The letter states they will be taking a bus, but my niece is 3. So how does this work with car seats? My sister has a phone call into the daycare center to get more info. But she was wondering if anyone else DC around that age went on a class trip on a bus and if so what was the seating situation?

My sister thinks she might just drive my niece there herself.

DS went on a daycare trip to the farm for pumpkin picking in October. He was 3. They asked that you bring in your own carseat. The teachers installed them in the bus. There were several teachers and some moms on the trip. I didn't go. He was in great hands, loved the bus, and had a great time on the trip.
