Classes/Hospital Tour
Which have you taken?
I feel kind of dumb asking these questions but...
How many different classes can you take or need to take?
What are bradely classes? how is it different from Lamaze? Are these the same as pre-natal classes?
Has anyone taken them at Stony Brook hospital?
Where can i find what classes are given through Stony brook?
When should I start taking classes?

Bradely is a form of hypnobirthing I believe...which is a bit different from Lamaze..
the prenatal classes range from getting ready for baby..like swaddling and all that jazz...to breastfeeding..
I don't know about the SBU ones..I have info on the ST Charles ones...

I took Bradley. They concentrate on natural births. I loved it and learned SO MUCH!!
I also took a BF class

Stonybrook offers free BF, Labor and delivery and postpartum classes. They also give a L&D tour. you can call general info and they will get you to the right dept to pre register. The Lamaze and Infant massage classes charge a fee.
