Cleaning a gas stove?

DH and I closed on our house yesterday. We are in thr process of cleaning everything throughout this week. The gas stove is filthy. We are going to get a new one but not right away. What do i use to clean a gas stove? I want to sanitize it real good but i want to make sure i dont use anything flammable i guess. TIA!

The oven? Does it have a clean setting? Use that or they make a fume free oven cleaner.

For the stove i usually use a sponge, hot water and dish soap, windex or fantastic with orange.

Even with the fume free and a good scrub brush, i always make sure there are no fumes in there, let it air out before use.

You can also take the burner covers off and soak them in hot soapy water and scrub.

For stovetop baked on grime, I use soft scrub and a dobie pad. rinse with a wet sponge and then use cinch on a papertowel to get it shiny again.

Definitely first see if there is an auto clean setting. If so do that.

Then afterwards you can use Clorox Anywhere........if you want to make sure ALL germs are GONE!!!

And use Hot Water and Scrub, Scrub, Scrub!
