I don't clean them either. If there's condensation or water in the tubes, I let the pump run for a few extra minutes until it dries out. An LC told me it's not necessary to wash out the tubes unless your milk overshoots into the tubes.

Ditto - me, too.
Sounds gross, but sometimes the dog gets into the breast pump bag and sniffs the tubing - then I HAVE to steam-clean the tubing.

me too. I boiled them in the beginning and they don't dry easily.

What steam bags are you referring to?
Medela has steam clean bags for sterilization of many baby items. You put in a little water and microwave it. I bought mine at the hospital, but I think I've seen them at BRU near the pump parts.

I used the steam bag once on the tubes and I found it didn't work as well after that so I had to use new tubes. Now I just let the machine run a few minutes after I pump.
