Cleaning Gas Grills?
We just bought a gas grill and are clueless as to cleaning. The book says to clean the grill plates with soapy water, but I thought most people just brush the food residue off with a brush and clean the plates occasionally?
So please help us get a clue--how do you clean your gas grill?

u can brush it off when it is hot.
But the cleaner- mexx works..

we let the grill run a few more min after the food is off with the cover closed , to burn off the residue. after it cools down we then use one of those brillo type bbq cleaning brushes..
