Cleaning Glass Shower Doors
I have a shower stall with glass doors. No matter what I use, they are always cloudy with what seems to be soap scum or water stains or SOMETHING. Does anyone else have this problem? If so what did you do?

Re: Cleaning Glass Shower Doors
I use a slightly abrasive cleaner to get rid of the soap scum, but its not recommended. Do you have something like Cillit Bang (I don't know what its called in the states) but that is good on soap scum.
AHA! Its called Easy-off BAM maybe... The Remix

Re: Cleaning Glass Shower Doors
I always use different options.......LOL
I have used Kaboom on them and they come out Crystal Clear.
I have also taken a suggestion on here a few weeks ago..........taking a wet Bounce Dryer Sheet and scrub. It's OK...not my favorite.
I have also used the Bounce Sheet using Bleach mixed with water. The Bounce Sheet is good to scrub with.......the bleach will actually clean it and cut any grime away.

Me too; using them dry when the doors are dry. Glass shower doors are my least favorite thing to clean and I will NEVER have them again.

Re: Cleaning Glass Shower Doors
When we first moved in our house the shower doors were full of soap scum. I used Soft Scrub to get the heavy stuff off. Now I just using scrubbing bubbles every few days, and squeege everytime we shower.

Bon Ami.
No harsh toxic fumes.
Doesn't scratch but cleans really well. Safe to use on your glass top stoves and Pyrex.
$1.29 a can

Re: Cleaning Glass Shower Doors
I also use a bathroom door squeegee everytime I finish showering to wipe the doors dry. I think that makes a big difference also.

Re: Cleaning Glass Shower Doors
Mr. Clean erasers are the best!!
If you spreay Lysol bathroom cleaner on the doors and shower first ...it will help loosen the soap scum even more. Then just use the eraser. It is the best thing for glass doors. After I use the eraser, I wipe down the whole shower and doors with clorox cleanup, rise and windex. They look gorgeous.

Same here (we squeegee the whole shower). Our doors are crystal clear.
BUT when we did have old sliding doors in our main bath, I used Kaboom and that worked wonders.

Re: Cleaning Glass Shower Doors
I use the Mr. Clean erasers sometimes and when the soap scum gets really bad I use Tilex. Spray it on the doors and let it sit for 10 minutes, wipe with a paper towel and then I use windex over it bc I am a FREAK!
I love the way the glass doors look but they are a PIA to keep clean!!!
