Cleaning hardwood floors with vinegar......
We are FINALLY moving into our house this weekend and the wood floor has gotten very dirty so I want to clean it before we move..........
Does anyone know the ratio of vinegar to water?
Should the water be hot or cold?
Mop or rag (it's just the DR)
Any other tips?
Thank you!!

Re: Cleaning hardwood floors with vinegar......
I use about 4-5 cups vinegar to a gallon of COLD water...you can use a rag, but I use a mop. the cold water makes the floors shine. I also love Murphys oil when Im not using vinegar for hardwood floors-makes the house smell so clean!

Thanks. Does the vinegar make the house smell badly at all?
