Cleaning PVC fence
How do you clean your fence? Mine is so dirty and I want to go out and clean it. It looks like dirt and a little green, I guess mold on it. Is Clorox Clean Up too strong to use?

Re: Cleaning PVC fence
I would think some maybe diluted simple green and a sponge would work or a power washer.
I don't think the green is mold, but just staining from when the grass gets cuts and then wet

Re: Cleaning PVC fence
I wash my gates with soap and water using a microfiber cloth and a plastic scrubbing pad, then hose it off. But that's only if it is just the usual light green stuff. My painter used a clorox solution, rinsing well afterwards, on the deck railing before staining the deck and the railings came out beautifully.
If lichen is growing on it - thick and crusty, as I have on my farm fencing where it goes under trees, that takes more scrubbing. I'm thinking about using a power washer on that stuff this year.

I use a car wash brush on a broom stick - Simple green diluted in a bucket of water and a hose.

Re: Cleaning PVC fence
I spray Clorox clean up right on and then let it sit for 10 minutes or so then hose it off...it worked miracles for my fence
