OP has every right to rip on Hillary the same way so many of you rip on Trump. And no one is wrong to have the feelings they have. There's post after post on this board about the stupid things Trump says/does (and certainly not disagreeing about that) and the one time someone posts against Hillary it's not allowed?
Nobody is saying it's not allowed. But it's drivel. Trump supporters are disgusted by what exactly? By a comment on one interview in the last six months? People are pointing out the hypocrisy of these same people not saying a thing about ALL the crap Trump does and spews every single minute of the day. The fact he's STILL yammering on and on and ON every single chance he gets about the election 6 months ago and how he should've won the popular vote 6 months ago isn't repulsive to these people I guess? They must be pleased. Silence = approval.
All I know is I don't support either so I feel free to rip on everyone

When did I? When he was elected I originally had the mentality of "Let's give him a chance" and "No one should hope the pilot of their own plane fails" but those have since gone out the window.

Yes but if you read my post I'm sure I probably mentioned that it sure as hell wasn't an easy choice. And the one and only reason why I ended up voting for him was because I felt our police weren't being supported and stood up for and that was a big issue for me and it seemed like he actually gave a shit about them. But to call myself a supporter? No. I sure as hell would have never voted for Hillary and couldn't really bring myself to vote for Trump either. I was going to vote 3rd party until the very last moment when I chose who I did for the reason I just stated. Not that I needed to explain any of this to you.

I understand that you were ambivalent but from the way you worded your post to MC09 you made it sound like you were denying that you voted for him or that you voted third party. The implication was clear in your words.
I am very happy to hear about any regrets simply and only because that reduces the chance that something like this will happen again. So you voted for him – OK. I don't even care if you own it or not. But I do hope you join the resistance. It's the least you can do. You helped get us into this mess - now help us get out of it.

I've never once denied who I voted for. I own up to it which is more than most on this board can say. But don't tell me that I need to now get you out of this. The choices for this election were horrible all around. All I'm going to do is cross my fingers that in 2020 we have a much better selection, for both sides.

Clinton : Lost
Why has this post turned into personal attacks? Like we are any better than these politicians right now? Look at yourselves in the mirror. To respond to the OP: I personally disagree, HRC has graciously conceded and thoroughly checked to make sure everything was legit before voicing her (legitimate) complaints.
I'd also like to add (in general) that I hate automatically being considered an HRC supporter because I am anti-Trump.

Anytime you write a long-winded post, Xelindrya, I feel compelled to check my mailbox for a Little Orphan Annie Secret Decoder Ring so I can figure out what is being said.
I'm drinking my flucking ovaltine to that

Why has this post turned into personal attacks?
It's a shame that people can't openly mention who they voted for without being ripped apart. No matter if they have regrets about it now or not. If you're not happy with the president that is obviously fine but why is it that any person who voted for him needs to be talked down to and ridiculed? The lack of respect on these boards, and in general when it comes to politics, is disgusting.
I'm not continuing on about this anymore. Have a good day all!

Nobody is saying it's not allowed. But it's drivel. Trump supporters are disgusted by what exactly? By a comment on one interview in the last six months? You said you were done with the post but in case you change your mind or in case others want to know, several representatives and senators have stated that phone calls, letters, emails etc. from constituents are making a difference. They answer to us and some of them seem to know it so I urge you to call or in other ways reach out to your representatives.
I'm part of a group that shares all of this info but you don't have to be part of a group to get the reps' contact numbers. There is also something called "the indivisible guide" that people have found a handy reference for the resistance.
Study the issues and find out what Cheetoh is doing. What Congress is doing. Decent people should all be appalled. The blatant focus on the rich, the self-serving, the corruption. It's downright despicable.
At the very minimum every homeowner on Long Island should be demanding that Trump abandon his idea to get rid of the mortgage interest and real estate tax deduction. It probably won't happen, but most of us didn't think Trump would actually be president did we?

Why has this post turned into personal attacks?
It's a shame that people can't openly mention who they voted for without being ripped apart. No matter if they have regrets about it now or not. If you're not happy with the president that is obviously fine but why is it that any person who voted for him needs to be talked down to and ridiculed? The lack of respect on these boards, and in general when it comes to politics, is disgusting.
I'm not continuing on about this anymore. Have a good day all!
You weren't even close to ripped apart. I stand by the fact that people who voted for him have a responsibility to work for change. And yes I'm angry - very angry. Your choice (along with that of others) is going to severely affect me, people I love, and people I'll never meet who I intend to stand by. And I don't intend to apologize for this anger.

And ftr
Don't like her. Fine.
But to diminish any of the work she has done for Children. For 9/11 survivors.
It's disgusting
Also. It's over. She lost. She knows she lost. She did it gracefully. It's not about her anymore. Anything HE does has literally nothing to do with

Yes, the election is over and now we are here to discuss how policies and issues of this administration affect our lives.

I also detest HRC. And I certainly more than detest that flaming orange moron in the White House. But OP is ranting and difficult to understand. "Royal c*ntness"? Not helping your argument. If you have one.

Jenn, I don't know you in real life, and this isn't personal. Just answering a question honestly. I have posted this before on lif. I cannot comprehend how anyone with an ounce of intelligence in their brain voted for Trump. I equate voting for him with brainwashing or ignorance, and I can't separate my feelings from this fact that I saw right through him before he was even nominated by the GOP. Why couldn't everyone? I'm angry at America's choice, angry that he duped everyone who voted for him, angry at Comey for the October surprise. I am armed with a barrage of ammo when it comes to disputing anything positive anyone can even think to say about him. I feel this way about my family members and friends or even aquaintences who have voted for him. I am sorry I do, but I do.
