Why has this post turned into personal attacks?
It's a shame that people can't openly mention who they voted for without being ripped apart. No matter if they have regrets about it now or not. If you're not happy with the president that is obviously fine but why is it that any person who voted for him needs to be talked down to and ridiculed? The lack of respect on these boards, and in general when it comes to politics, is disgusting.
I'm not continuing on about this anymore. Have a good day all!
You weren't even close to ripped apart. I stand by the fact that people who voted for him have a responsibility to work for change. And yes I'm angry - very angry. Your choice (along with that of others) is going to severely affect me, people I love, and people I'll never meet who I intend to stand by. And I don't intend to apologize for this anger.
Jenn, I don't know you in real life, and this isn't personal. Just answering a question honestly. I have posted this before on lif. I cannot comprehend how anyone with an ounce of intelligence in their brain voted for Trump. I equate voting for him with brainwashing or ignorance, and I can't separate my feelings from this fact that I saw right through him before he was even nominated by the GOP. Why couldn't everyone? I'm angry at America's choice, angry that he duped everyone who voted for him, angry at Comey for the October surprise. I am armed with a barrage of ammo when it comes to disputing anything positive anyone can even think to say about him. I feel this way about my family members and friends or even aquaintences who have voted for him. I am sorry I do, but I do.
Hi, I'm not sure what your point is because it sounds like we agree.

Re: Clinton : Lost
Original poster,
I don't post much and I don't think I've ever written a post nearly a quarter as long as the rambling novel you just posted. Honestly, I stopped reading when I got to "royal cuntness." When people say things like that I usually write them off as not worth engaging. Your posts always come off as a long, self righteous, op-ed.
Yes, HRC lost the election but "we the people" don't have the President that most Americans wanted. However the election is over and that man is our President. Considering that he is a pathological liar who is ill equipped to handle the presidency, it is no surprise that people are still unhappy about it. HRC is an intelligent, qualified, person who would never comment that the job is more work than she expected or that healthcare was more complicated than she thought. She's been in service her whole life and he has not. She isn't my favorite person but she has been a class act since the election ended, despite Trump bringing the election victory up constantly, identifying her by name as a loser, and making unsubstantiated claims about an administration she was part of. So yeah, she can be upset and so can everyone else.
I don't know what the point of your post was but part of how I resist is by calling assholes out when I see them.
