Clomid- cysts or ov pain

I took my 1st cycle of Clomid and today is cd16. For the past couple of days I have been having ab pain. Today it even hurts when I walk or sit.
Can anyone shed any light?

Re: Clomid- cysts or ov pain

Have you had a sonogram? Do you know how many follies you have?

If the pain is on the sides (like where your ovaries are) than it could be actual ovulation pain or it could be the follicles growing that is causing you pain. Although I think if it's lasted a few days it might be "growing" pains.

No I havent checked today but I've been taking Opk's everyday since cd8.My line has def. gotten darker than it was but it's still not as dark as the control line. I've still been bd'ing just incaseI'm reading the Opk wrong, despite the discomfort.

Nope no sonogram. The pain is all over but strongest on the sides. I'm just worried out of my mind that it's cysts.

Meaning just BDing when you are ovulating as opposed to IUI or something else.

If you are in that much pain I'd call the doctor and ask if you can come in for a sono so they can see what's going on. IMO you should be getting sonos while on Clomid anyway.

Good luck!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
