Clothing for infants- how much per season?

On average how much have you spent per season on clothes for your infant? How many tops and bottoms does this include? As a new parent, I am trying to figure out how much I need for each season . . .

No idea Money wise, I get from all over, regular stores, hand me downs, consignment shops etc.

I'm doing Noahs fall/Winter wardrobe right now..trying to get whatever else he needs before the babies come.

We are lucky my son is super skinny so he wears the same clothes usually for two of the same seasons.

Anyway...What I like to have item wise is: ( and we do laundry , once a week)

10-14 pj's ..( they seem to shrink , wear out etc more then any other clothes)

14 or so long sleeved shirts
5-7 sweatshirts
2-4 sweaters
a jacket
A coat

pants ( sweatpants, jeans, running pants and dress pants....) about 20 pair.

It seems like a lot and actually Noah has a LOT more already then what I have written and I have only bought 3 shirts, spent $15 total...and I could consider him done...( we have tons of stuff from last yr and hand me downs etc).....

But I will probably buy a few more things to have some "new stuff" .

For us, including shoes, it wont be a lot this season...

As a newborn he needed more. To be honest I never noticed how "much" he had till I started counting it. He has about 30 or so short sleeved shirts for Summer...Some he barely wore....so I'm trying to tone things down for future seasons.
