clothing gift for an 8 year old girl
DD has a giving tree at school and we chose pink/purple clothing for an 8 year old girl.
i know what i would buy, but have no idea what an 8 year old likes/wears/thinks is trendy.
do they care at this age? if so, any ideas would be appreciated...thanks!

My DD is 8(will be 9 in Jan) and OH YES, she cares. Generally we shop at the regular stores like Kohls, JC Penny, Gap, Old Navy etc. HOWEVER, all her favorite things are from Justice, Abercrombie, Hollister and Aeropastle. If she had her way, they would all be from there I think

My nieces are 5, 6.5 and 8 and they tend to like the Justice look (I think of it as graffiti) I just got my one niece a cool sweatshirt from Childrens PLace for 12 that was the same look.
Also my 6.5 year old niece is very into Peace signs....

oh am i old...i know Abercrombie and Aeropastle, but Hollister? Justice? what are those   i guess i have only a few more years and i'll be schooled by my DDs
