clothing questions

how many outfits do you need in each size for twins? they are both boys and can share. i have a few matching outfits but most of the stuff i have is differnt. i have a lot of 0-9 sleepers and some new born stuff, a lot of 0-3 a lot of 3-6 a lot of 6-9 and a few thigns even bigger. most were gifts. i was trying to figure out how much i really need. i have mainly onsise, some pants, some shorts and some seperate tops and bottoms which i was tryign to avoid too many of b.c they seem liek more work and i want the babies to be comfy.

also how many times a day does the babies outfit need to be changed?

i have several footed stretchies or whatever they are called. many of the look like pjs. but they dont all. how do i know if they are pjamas or footed outfits? or are they whatever i want them to be and it doestn really matter since they are babies?
i just remember askign one of my firneds if her daughter ever wore pjs out of the house and she was like "NO!, Never!" i dont think its a big deal. her daughter isnt even 10 months yet. but i dont even know if these are all pjs or outfits!

You definitely dont need alot in NB size. I think the first couple of weeks my kids lived in those footed outfits (I wasnt sure if they were pj's either, but they were easy on and off so thats all I cared about).

Re: clothing questions

My DDs had acid reflux and would spit up a lot so I did change their outfits sometimes 2 or 3 times per day (until they were about 6 months). If they are in a nice outfit all day, I change them and put sweats on them to sleep in for naps, then change them each night into clean PJs.

I would think about how often you think you will do laundry. I do it every day, and so really, I don't need that many clothes. If there is spitup, or food on the clothing, you can put the prewash on it and let it sit a bit. I didn't realize how often I would be doing laundry, and so I wouldn't have had as many onesies and clothes as I did. HTH.

Re: clothing questions

I lived in the one pieces that you can find at carters.. with no feet.. i always feel the feet are for nighttime. they have some shortsleeve and some sleeveless.. when it is hot out it was the easiest thing to put on them . then when it got cooler I used the 5 pack of onezies and bought 4 pairs of matching pants to go with bthem so if their top got messy I had another shirt that matched perfectly.

We would change clothes about 2 - 3 times a day, because of spit up. You will need more bibs then you would ever think is humanly possible to need. This will help with the amount of clothes you need too, the more bibs the less clothes.

My boys were 3 lbs 10ozs and 6 lbs 10 oz, so I had about 4 premie outifts and 8 newborn outfits and tons and tons of onesies. I was using newborn for a good 2 - 3 months and then 0-3 for a while too. It all depends on their sizes really on how much of each size you will need.

Most of the outfits I had for them were the ones with feet, they are called sleep and play's I think.
