Co-op renovations
What typically are you allowed to do without first clearing with the board? And what type of renovations would you have to go to the board for?
For example, if a kitchen needed new cabinets and flooring, do we need clearance for that?

flooring no, cabinets yes. Anything structural requires approval but it should be in your house rules.

it depends on the board...
techincally, you own the inside... (inside walls and included)...the only thing you don't own is the external of your co-op - windows, outside door, etc...
so for your kichthen, i would say no.
our board only wants things to be done by certifed professionals if we were to have work done
